Lourenço buys used goods from people going through hard times, and this entices him to conduct some perverse power games. At a casual rendezvous, Lourenço is forced to use a currency that he has put aside for a long time: affection. While pestered by a foul odor coming from his shop's drain, Lourenço is confronted by the same clients he believed he controlled.
