Writing Hawa

In a story set against the backdrop of Afghanistan, a 52-year-old Hazara woman named Hawa seeks personal liberation following an arranged marriage. Through determination, she educates herself and builds a successful textile business, carving out a space of independence. However, the resurgence of the Taliban in 2021 brings upheaval, threatening the life and achievements she has worked so hard to create.
