Info
Documentary about living historians Ben Jenkins and Aaron Klass and their attempt to hike the 500-mile Colorado trail period to 1860. Jenkins and Klass set out on their adventure, excited and opportunistic for the journey to come. This is their chance to get out and experience what being in the 1860s really was like. They make it over a hundred miles with only a few snags in the road. By the halfway mark, they feel they really have a chance. That high only lasts a few days. Day 19, 190 miles in, things go south. Exhausted, cold, blistered, and malnourished - Jenkins and Klass begin to argue about why they are out there and what they are accomplishing; ultimately deciding to pull off the trail after 200 miles. 3 years later, Jenkins and Klass return to the Colorado Wilderness to show off their true mission in this hobby: getting out and experiencing history by living it first hand.
