Battered and bruised from a recent car accident, could he just have concussion or is there something seriously sinister about this picture-perfect town?

Ethan encounters the threatening Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo) in shockingly white tights, Sheriff Pope (Terrence Howard) who loves rum and raisin ice-cream, and Beverly the bar-tender (Juliette Lewis) who is seemingly his only ally.
