Dhanush, Kajol and Vivek act well. Others give them good support. The domestic scenes between Dhanush with his father, brother and wife are hilarious. They have tied it well to the Chennai flooding event at the end.
It is irritating when they show Dhanush (like 80s Rajini) smoking and puffing on Kajol. Similarly, when there are thousand graduates standing next to support, Dhanush has to beat up all the goons all-by-himself! It is unbelievable that CEO was left alone in the high-rise office when flooding happens (not even a security guard is there!) It is also unbelievable that a rival CEO is so obsessed with an engineer in a competing company.
