Unforgiven

In the tiny frontier town of Big Whiskey, Wyoming, sadistic sheriff Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman) enforces strict gun control and dispenses his own twisted justice. When prostitute Delilah Fitzgerald (Anna Thomson) is disfigured by a pair of cowboys, her fellow brothel workers deny the sheriff's leniency and post a reward for the attackers' murder, sparking his fury against vigilantism. The women hire a reformed gunslinger to exact vengeance, forcing the shootist to grapple with his newfound moral code amid the violent life he abandoned, as two groups of gunfighters converge on the town.
