Un poète

Oscar, a once-celebrated poet now fallen on hard times, struggles with life in Medellín, clashing with his bitter aging mother and failing to reconnect with his teenage daughter. Reduced to a substitute teaching job to alleviate financial strain, he encounters Yurlady (Rebeca Andrade), a gifted young writer from a disadvantaged background. Drawn to her raw talent, Oscar takes on a mentorship role, though his intentions are not wholly selfless. As he introduces her to the city's literary elite, they eagerly embrace the notion of saving her through art, leading to a chain of awkward and revealing events that expose the hidden agendas of all parties involved.
