Tyrant

A family from a fictional Middle Eastern country of Abbudin is reunited after more than two decades apart. The story focuses around Bassam "Barry" Al Fayeed. His long stay in the United States has left him utterly alienated from the practices of his home country. He is in for a great deal of shock as he is assimilated back into the culture that he hoped never to be a part of again. This process is met with a great deal of clash as he asserts his modern, western views on the traditional, eastern ones. All of this interferes with the oncoming nuptials of Barry's nephew's wedding.
