Bonnie (Kirsten Dunst) and her twin brother Sam (Zachery Ty Bryan) are thrust into a quest for survival when their plane crashes in the treacherous Canadian backwoods. All seems lost until Khonanesta, a Native American, arrives to help them. As he leads them back to civilization, the wise man teaches the teenagers the laws of nature and the meaning of friendship. But just when Bonnie and Sam seem out of harm's way, their adventure takes a nail-biting twist when evil bear trappers begin tracking them!
