Trog

In a remote cave, students Malcolm, Cliff, and Bill stumble upon a ferocious ape-like creature, leading to Bill's tragic death. The survivors' report draws skepticism from police and captivates anthropologist Dr. Brockton, while media frenzy ensues. A camera crew's attempt to document the beast fails as it forces them out. Dr. Brockton, urging caution, tranquilizes the creature -- revealed as a troglodyte, a missing evolutionary link -- and studies it in her lab, initiating communication through a chest transmitter. Tensions rise when Trog kills a dog, prompting warnings from authorities. Local developer Sam Murdock and rival Dr. Selbourne unleash Trog, sparking a deadly rampage. Though Dr. Brockton saves an abducted child, the British Army ultimately destroys the cave, ending Trog's existence.
