'I'd rather live for Germany than die for England,' says Eddie Chapman. But the actions of the clever British safecracker don't match his words. Trained by the Nazis to spy for the Third Reich inside England, Chapman then becomes a key agent for British Intelligence, engaging in counterspy operations that feed disinformation to the Nazi war machine -- and outwitting the enemy brass so completely he is awarded the Iron Cross.
