Celeste Palmer returns to her hometown of Everly for Christmas after struggling to break into the design world in New York. Accompanied by her boyfriend of three months, Jason Arlington, she faces a mix of family dynamics with her parents, Mark and Judith Palmer, the local pastor and mayor. When Jason proposes a Christmas Eve wedding in the church Celeste always dreamed of, despite its urgent need for remodeling, Judith welcomes the idea, but Mark remains skeptical of their short courtship. Determined to test their commitment, Mark subjects the couple to a challenging marriage bootcamp, creating tension that could impact his relationship with Celeste and the tight-knit community.
