Thunder Waves and Rockets

After investigating severe aftershocks near a California beach. A team from California Science Division investigates a strong energy surge coming from the mouth of a large rock. Two members exit the hole with heightened speed and strength. The other two are detained. Astronaut / Pilot and former Science Officer Michael Jones is serving a 20 year Felony sentence for embezzlement. Most of the Science Team believe he was framed by his ex wife who was head of the Science Division. Since the detained Science Officers won't discuss what happened inside of the rock, Michael Jones is offered 5 years off his 20 year sentence to interview members of this team and find some answers.
