Three Days is about one man's journey to play the role of a lifetime, no matter what! A "cliff-notes classic" version of Hamlet, the film centers on a troupe of players who gather to rehearse and perform a stage-reading of one of Western Civilizations greatest melodramas. It is filmed in a first person, TV-interview style where Reality intrudes as the creative process is both enabled and disrupted, much like the Danish Court where the action takes place. When faced with the chance to do the play, the question turns to "whether they can do it... in three days," and then ultimately to "why?" The answers are quite personal and resonate with all--parents and children alike.
