The Sound

In 1959, a climber flees an unseen terror and plummets to his death. Decades later, gifted yet insecure climber Sean joins an expedition to the same treacherous cliff, the site of his grandfather's fatal fall. Sidelined at base camp, Sean encounters a bone-rattling sound that disrupts communications and sparks hallucinations. As tensions escalate, one climber becomes violent and falls, stranding Kristen. Expedition leader Colton presses on despite warnings, prompting Kerrie to dispatch Sean and Justin on a rescue mission with scant information. Justin meets a grim fate, forcing Sean to free solo his way to Kristen. Together, they press upward, grappling with inner demons, until they reach the summit and confront Colton amid the origin of the ominous sound.
