The Silent Storm

Aislin's origins are a mystery, as are her ways. Despite her goodness, on the wild, remote Scottish island she is still treated as the outsider. With the island's mine closing, her husband, Balor, the island's minister, is fighting to keep his disappearing community together. A storm is raging inside their marriage. Suddenly amidst the chaos and confusion there is a knock at the door: a rugged teenage delinquent has been sent to live with them - his last chance at rehabilitation. Aislin is drawn to this kindred spirit, another outcast. His youthful nature ignites a passion within her, offering a way out of a life bound by convention and into the unknown world beyond.
