The President has AIDS?

Dao, a very popular singer in a band, is even called the king of "kompa". Despite his success, he suffers from recurrent fevers, which he believes are the result of evil persecutions perpetrated by other musicians who are jealous of him. At a party, he meets and falls in love with Nina whom he snatches from the clutches of Larieux, a rich man with great political influence with whom Nina's mother feels they have hit the jackpot. Dao continues to see Nina while dealing with Larieux's retaliations. He ends up falling into his rival's trap. At the hospital, Dao escapes immediately and seeks refuge at his mother's house. His mother tries to help him.
