The Power of the Whistler

The third entry in the Whistler series finds Janis Carter on a suspenseful investigation with amnesiac Richard Dix to discover his identity, with only the cryptic contents of his pockets for clues. An ominous fortune and the peculiar habit of kittens and birds turning up dead in Dix's presence suggest that the well-meaning Carter may not like what she finds.
