The Penthouse

Dinah St. Clair, daughter of a music mogul, lives a charmed life in a high-rise penthouse. A mentally troubled childhood friend of Dinah's, Joe Dobson, breaks out of a mental ward in order to meet with Dinah. His issues unbeknownst to her, Dinah lets him in her home. Joe holds Dinah hostage while the police and her father try to finagle a plan to rescue her from the perilous predicament.
