The Orville

A spaceship captain and his loyal crew explore the galaxy in a Union vessel called the "Orville". They visit exciting newly discovered alien worlds and experience zany adventures along the way. The captain works alongside his first officer (she just happens to be his ex-wife). He frequently receives motherly advice from the Orville's wise female physician. Several extraterrestrials serve in the crew, including a science officer from a single-sex planet and a security officer from a planet where the residents can perform amazing feats of physical strength.
