The Marsh King's Daughter

A woman with a secret past will embarks on a journey into the wilderness of her past to confront a highly perilous individual -- her own father. Helena (Daisy Ridley), leading what appears to be an unremarkable life, conceals a sinister truth: her estranged father is the notorious Marsh King (Ben Mendelsohn), responsible for holding both her and her mother captive in the wild for an extended period. Upon her father's escape from incarceration, Helena is compelled to grapple with her history. With the understanding that he will relentlessly pursue her and her family, Helena must summon the fortitude to confront her inner demons and outmaneuver the man who imparted to her the skills necessary for survival in the wilderness.
