The Man from Snowy River

Following the loss of his father, Jim Craig (Tom Burlinson), a determined young man, embarks on a journey to establish his independence. He finds employment at the horse ranch owned by Harrison (Kirk Douglas), where he faces harsh treatment from seasoned cowboys. Despite the challenges, Jim earns the affection of Harrison's daughter, Jessica (Sigrid Thornton), through his skill in taming a spirited colt and his bravery in rescuing her from danger. When an expensive horse goes missing and blame falls unjustly on him, Jim strives to clear his name and demonstrate his worthiness of Jessica's love.
