The Island of Dr. Moreau

Andrew Braddock is shipwrecked on an uncharted island where Dr. Moreau, a brilliant surgeon, maintains an elaborate laboratory for his unorthodox experiments with animals, turning them into quasi-humans. Braddock falls in love with Moreau’s mistress, and they escape the island just as the doctor’s Humanimals savagely revolt while a shipwrecked survivor discovers a remote island owned by a crazed scientist who is carrying out sinister experiments on the island’s inhabitants.
