The Heart of Madame Sabali

Sabali is a dramatic film with touches of surrealist comedy and science fiction. The film is centered on the strange, beautiful and emotional story of Jeannette. When her boyfriend Bruno quits having sex with her, Jeannette starts a romantic fling with a younger man from work. She also has a se- vere heart condition that keeps her trapped in a suburb of Montreal. But after receiving her new heart, Jeannette is befriended by her donor's son, a Malian teenager who be- lieves she is his mother reincarnated, which we discover is partly true.
