The Happy Valley

Tina, now a New Yorker for nearly twelve years, was born and raised in central PA in an area known as Happy Valley, where the majority of the filming took place. The small town welcomed the film production and it's forty something members offering extensive discounts on locations, equipment rentals, transportation and accommodations making it possible on Tina's small budget, to bring the project to life.

Tina's parents were caterers and craft services, and many of the locals became extras and in many cases even had speaking parts. Word spread to the local university and the project was stocked with wide eyed enthusiastic PA's from its' small film department. When filming moved to the Bronx, the same PA's were asked to come along for their first New York film experience. The enthusiasm, support, encouragement and hard work from everyone involved in the process enabled us to virtually finish the entire project in under a year.
