The Event

A District Attorney (Parker Posey) is investigating the suspicious suicide of a young man, and must conduct a series of interviews with his loved ones. The ensuing flashbacks reconstruct the man's life and his various relationships with friends and family. When the true (and surprising) circumstances of his death are revealed, they prove to be far less important than how he lived, how he loved, and how he was loved.
