The Crime of Father Amaro

Young idealist, Amaro feels a calling to become a man of the church and, encouraged by his friendship with the bishop, enters the seminary in Los Reyes, where he studies under Father Benito. He soon meets Amélia, a pure and devout young woman. Bound by their shared faith, the two young people gradually grow closer. The temptation is strong, and fate is not going to make their lives easier.
