Max and Drew have a beloved livestream show where during each episode, a possessed person is exorcised. The truth is that each possession and exorcism is fake news and designed to get audience members to like and follow the videos and to purchase goods. However, karma hits the team when Lane, Drew's fiancee, agreeing to be one of the possessed, truly becomes possessed. The demon gets his revenge by humiliating Max and forcing him to admit the lie to the audience. However, the demon's goals don't stop there, and the evil creature wants to expose deep dark secrets that Max, Drew, and Lane have with one another.
