The Cat from Outer Space

Cosmic comedy is on the prowl when an extraterrestrial cat named Jake is forced to crash-land his spaceship on Earth. Befriended by an offbeat physicist named Frank, Jake leads Frank, his girlfriend Liz, their gambling-obsessed coworker Link, the U.S. Army, a master criminal and a team of baffled scientists on endless escapades during his unscheduled and hilarious visit.
