THE CALIFORNIANS is a hilarious and moving look at two siblings obsession with their wacky ambitions and one lovely young singer. Gavin Ransom (Noah Wyle), is a land developer and his sister, Olive Ransom (Illeana Douglas), is an environmental activist. When they both meet a talented singer, Zoe Tripp (Kate Mara), she is forced to choose between Olive and the cause to protect the majestic redwoods, or Gavin, the man she has grown to love despite their differences.
