Film about the experiences of Italian women across twentient-century history. Anna, a retired Roman sex worker, has grown dissatisfied with her lonely life. Searching for an escape, she purchases a convertible that she hopes will be her ticket to freedom. But upon venturing outside the city, Anna discovers that the people and situations she encounters are far different -- and more dangerous -- than she expected.
