The Abe Lincoln of Ninth Avenue

Jackie Cooper is Jimmy, a newsboy-by-day/law student-by-night. Because he wants to pattern his life after the famous president, he has been given the nickname 'Abe Lincoln of Ninth Avenue.' Extortion-gathering hoods threaten him and his crippled pal Gimpy (Martin Spellman) when the boys get into a fight with the gang.
