Tarzan of the Apes

The first silent film adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' famous novel; the plot follows the novel more closely than any other Tarzan movie. The story follows Tarzan's adventures, from his childhood being raised by apes in the jungle to his eventual encounters with other humans and Western society.
