In 1784, Elondra Sharack was condemned as a witch and sentenced to death by crucifixion. But being the daughter of Satan has its perks, and her soul is not destroyed. Instead it slumbers in the murky waters of Black Pond, waiting for someone foolish and unwitting enough to release her tormented spirit. Now 200 years later, despite the warnings from the townsfolk, the Rev. David Thompson and his family have moved into the vacant house bordering the foreboding Black Pond. The Thompsons should have listened to the warning for soon the evil spirit of Elondra Sharack is awakened and a torrent of gory murder and revenge is unleashed! Crucifixion, spikes through the head, bisection, decapitation and flying saw blades become the order of the day for those who don't heed their own Superstition!
