In her last film for MGM, Judy Garland stars opposite Gene Kelly as a country girl who gets mixed up in showbiz when her farm is invaded by a theatrical troupe rehearsing their new show. Though plagued by personal problems behind the scenes, Judy, clad in iconic black fedora and tuxedo jacket, displays the talent that made her a legend in the celebrated "Get Happy" number.
