Suitor

The final episode in the film trilogy Garden Store which consists of three separate films taking place against the backdrop of the most dramatic periods of the last century. It tells the story of three families: the family of an air radio operator, the family of a hair salon owner and the family of a garden store owner. Suitor, taking place in the late 1950s, concentrates on family relations scarred by the war and the communist takeover. The tragicomic insight shows a generational conflict between the prewar and postwar generations. Suitor is a romantic comedy about expectations parents have about the future fortune of their children.
