Sprinter

Akeem Sharp (Dale Elliott) is set to be Jamaica's next big track-and-field sensation. He hopes his skill will earn him a scholarship to a school in the United States and allow him to reunite with his mother, who has been living in the US illegally for years to support the family. But Akeem's success is threatened by his tumultuous relationships with an unstable, alcoholic father and an unruly older brother.
