Sleepless in Seattle

In Seattle, widowed father Sam Baldwin (Tom Hanks) is pushed by his son Jonah (Ross Mallinger) to speak on a talk-radio show about his loss. His heartfelt words captivate Annie Reed (Meg Ryan), a Baltimore reporter, who feels an instant connection despite her engagement. Drawn by an inexplicable bond, Annie writes to Sam, proposing a meeting atop the Empire State Building on Valentine's Day, hoping fate will unite them.
