The old adage is that if you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. But what does it take to make it in New York? The dream is simple enough: Venezuelan-born flamenco prodigy Siudy Garrido and her dance troupe want to bring their production 'Entre Mundos' ('Between Worlds') to a famed midtown New York stage and sustain a successful multi-month run. But the process of making that dream a reality -- from securing funding and travel, to generating creative grassroots publicity, to attracting the attention of national press -- proves to be a gruelling and often soul-crushing process. When the troupe finally attracts the attention of the New York Times dance critic, will the coverage launch them to new heights, or will it sink their fledgling production?
