Ann Block stars as Mona, a painter drawn to the couple who move next door to her beachfront home: stand-up comic Jack (in a standout performance by Will Durst in his first film role) and exotic-dancer Cristie (Maria Isaacs). When Mona and Jack start an affair, even closely-held secrets have reverberations. Much better at their work than the game of life, they play out their pain in their art.
