Sept-Îles '72: Archives du monde ordinaire

Following the imprisonment of the leaders of the Common Inter-Union Front during the general strike in the spring of 1972 in Quebec, workers and activists in Sept-Îles spontaneously occupied the city. Through the testimonies of a handful of activist friends and archives, this film tells the reasons for the revolt, the sequence of events during the occupation that ended tragically, and the impact of the occupation on the lives of those who experienced it.
