Frances Ward, known as a "Seaweed Nerd" and adventurer, embarks on a journey to start a kelp farm off the west coast of Canada. The film follows Frances as she ventures into the Pacific Ocean to establish one of the first kelp farms in British Columbia. To succeed, she collaborates with scientists, wild harvesters, and entrepreneurs who share insights into the challenges and potential of this unique organism.
