Vivian Kerr, recently laid off, navigates the challenges of maintaining a middle-class lifestyle while moving around Los Angeles. In an effort to secure new employment and improve her circumstances before her estranged older brother Ben - Anthony Rapp becomes aware of her situation, Vivian must overcome her pride. This journey leads her to reconnect with Ben and focus on providing for her young daughter, Birdy.
