A young Brooklyn couple, Jack and Su, have decided that they need to change their lives to reconnect with life and improve their relationship. They've thought about the most detrimental parts of their current way of living and settle on the idea that they're too addicted to the internet and their phones. They decide to go into isolation at a friend's remote cabin in the woods upstate for a week and turn off their phones. The plan works. They rediscover a love of life and nature and their intimate spark. Yet, their decision to unplug has consequences: Strange events eventually reveal that an alien attack has taken place. Jack and Su must find a way to survive when their knowledge base and survival skills rely heavily upon modern personal electronics.
