Salute of the Jugger

Tough guy Rutger Hauer is one of the few survivors in a futuristic world ravaged by war, where the only source of entertainment is the game. Sallow (Hauer), is an ex- major league player of this exhilarating sport and forms his own team in an attempt to gain the spoils of victory: food, liquor and sex. On his travels he encounters a young female player, Joan Chen. She joins the team, and together they battle for survival and re-entry into the league in this action-packed movie, where winning really is a matter of life and death.
