Rome

This dramatic documentary traces the history of Rome, from its legendary founding by Romulus and Remus, to its spread throughout the Mediterranean and its identity as an empire, the rise of Christianity and the various ways that the Roman civilization has influenced the world as we know it today. It is focused on the Roman soldiers Lucius Vorenus (Kevin McKidd) and Titus Pullo (Ray Stevenson) and their families, in the ending of the era Julius Caesar.
