Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

When Robin of Locksley escapes captivity and returns to England, he learns that his father has been murdered by the Sheriff of Nottingham and vows to avenge his father's death. Marian, his childhood friend, cannot help him, so he escapes to the Forest of Sherwood where he leads a band of exiled villagers and attempts to cleanse the land of the evil that the Sheriff has spread.
