Riptide

On a beach in the Somme, northern France, drenched by relentless, icy rain, a man named Pierre checks into the only hotel still open in the small town. The hotel workers, much like Pierre, grew up in public care. Pierre himself once worked there as a servant, many years back. So when a stranger shows up and accuses Pierre of a terrible crime, the staff bands together, determined to do whatever it takes to clear his name.
