Private investigator Luke Harding reads a book of sinister origins owned by seedy crime lord Mr. Fairweather. Unbeknownst to Luke, the book is a much sought-after supernatural artifact and Fairweather's greatest rival, the enigmatic Mr. Lamont, pursues Luke with his henchmen.
