One night Alex (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), a saturnine young photographer, falls suddenly in love with Aimee (Maria Bonnevie), a mysterious blonde stranger married to a middle-aged novelist. After spending a night with Aimee, Alex discovers that everything has, quite literally changed: his girlfriend Simone (Maria Bonnevie) does not recognize him, and the apartment he lived in no longer exists.
